Divorce requirements
If you have decided to end your relationship and get divorced, you should know that this process can be faster and less traumatic if you do it before a notary.
To do so, it is necessary to meet two requirements:
That there are no minor or dependent children.
That the divorce is by mutual agreement (the most advisable).
In this case, you simply must go to the notary's office together with a lawyer who has previously advised you and drafted the Regulatory Agreement of the divorce, a document in which questions will be agreed as the destiny of the common goods, who will remain with the conjugal domicile, and other aspects derived from the rupture.
It is important to take into account that you can choose the notary, but this one will have to be of the place of the last common domicile or of the current domicile of any of the spouses.
